Yet, this has not deterred loyal patrons; instead, it emphasizes the restaurant’s focus on its core strengths. It’s a place where you can revel in the joy of good food and even better company, as R312 K describes it as the 'best restaurant in Croatian country.'

“ Very very good quality beef steak (tenderloin?), drowning in a tasty truffled sauce for 160kn - highly recommended! Fries were probably frozen from a pack, but they were a side show. Fried ice cream 25kn was disappointing, cheap tasting ice cream in a poorly executed batter. Service was pleasant and spoke a decent level of English ”
“ It may look like your average neighborhood tavern, but Dišpet is anything but! The first that poppep into my mind was: " This looks like we'll feel right at home." We received a suggestion and wandered in after a walk from Pićan to Sopot waterfall with two friends on a Saturdsy night, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of, at thst momemn, unknown dishes. For the aperitif we ordered two local sweet liquor, and asked for the brand names after, since they were so good. The right amount of sweet and alchocol. Antipasto was simple, we ordered a plate of local prosciutto, cheese with truffles and local sausage to share. 2 servings for four people just the right amount of enough since main dishes have bigger servings. And the homemade little buns were little bombs of flavory, yeasty goodness, packed with happiness. We ordered 4 different main courses: "pljukanci" homemade pasta with prosciutto and arugula, a simple yet delicious dish, homemade gnocchi with wild boar sauce, where meat was neat and tender, but not overpowering, 3rd one was pork tenderloin in a mushroom sauce with mediocre, store bough French fries, and 4th dish had a combination of vegetables, mixed meat and said French fries, called "Piat za lacne" which translates to a plate for the very hungry ones. When our dishes arrived, our expectations continued to be exceeded. Everything worked together beautifully, except for the fries. Pork tenderloin in a mushroom sauce would be better off with a rice, and mixed meat with oven baked potatoes. Everything was packed with flavor, and by the end of the meal we were planning our next visit. And we tried a dessert, homemade sweet gnocchi with Nuttela, simple yet amazing. Don’t let appearances fool you—the decor may be divey, but the food is fantastic. This place is perfect for groups or a casual date night. ”
“ A really nice and quiet place. The food feels home-made, the portions are definitely sufficient and the prices are affordable. I had pasta with a chicken drumstick for 9 euros. I highly recommend pasta in truffle sauce for 13 euros. ”
“ We had a great lunch at Konoba Dispet. I ordered the hungry man's plate which consists of a variety of meats and was not disappointed at all. The food is homemade and there's a pleasant atmosphere inside the restaurant and out, highly recommended for anyone looking for a tasty lunch. ”
“ By far the best “konoba” we visited in the area. The food was delicious, freshly cooked and beautifully served. The lady who served us was kind and smiling, something that does not happen very often!! A wide selection of appetisers and main courses!!! We will definitely come back !!! ”
“ Looks rather simple from the outside, but it's a very good konoba. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable and the service is very nice and helpful. ”
“ Food was amazing and we got a lot on our plate, service was great and the price was just the cherry on top. We had so much fun this evening. Thank you for the great food and the lovely experience! P.S. we’re sorry for staying till after closing time, we enjoyed ourselves a bit too much ”
